Chat with Parents – Understanding with love

“As children step into adulthood, love is no longer just about protecting them – it is about listening, understanding, and walking alongside them through the emotional and psychological changes of this important life stage.”

On the morning of July 9, 2026, more than 100 parents gathered for “Chat with Parents – Understanding with Love,” a meaningful event organized by VinUni Community as part of VinUni Discovery Day 2026.

The session featured heartfelt conversations with distinguished guest speakers, including Ms. Van Anh and Ms. Thu Anh, parents of current VinUni students, and Ms. Hong Ha, a member of the University’s leadership team. The discussion was skillfully moderated by Ms. Lien Trinh, a faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and a familiar face of the VinUni Community.

More than just a conversation, the event created a valuable opportunity for parents to connect with the University, meet other families embarking on the same journey, and prepare together for their children’s transition into university life.

Throughout the session, sincere stories and reflections shared by the speakers, parents, and VinUni students offered meaningful perspectives on supporting young adults during this pivotal stage of life. From hopes and concerns to real-life experiences, each conversation reinforced a simple yet powerful message: true understanding does not come from always having the right answers – it comes from being present, listening with empathy, and trusting our children as they grow.

In addition to addressing parents’ questions about academic programs, student life, and support services, VinUni shared updates on our Vision 2030, including plans to expand the campus, strengthen the academic ecosystem, and further enhance educational excellence. These insights provided parents with a clearer understanding of VinUni’s long-term strategic direction and its aspiration to become a globally influential university. More importantly, they reaffirmed the University’s enduring commitment to investing in a world-class educational experience for every student.
