When the flavors of Tet bridge distance and culture

January 27, 2026

Some joys still linger gently in our hearts after the gathering on January 18…

In the lively atmosphere of the first days of 2026, the sight of VinUni families sitting together with international students (VISA), sharing the experience of Vietnamese Tet traditions, created a truly special connection – warm and familiar, just like family. We sincerely thank our families for spending time together and helping shape the true meaning of “One VinUni, One Community”, where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

✨ No distance, only warmth: These may be everyday, familiar activities for Vietnamese people, but this time, unwrapping green bánh chưng, slicing golden pomelos, and cutting giò chả became something much more meaningful. VinUni “parents” patiently guided our students from afar through each step, while laughter filled the air at the charming clumsiness of first hands-on encounters with Vietnamese customs. In those moments, language barriers seemed to fade away, making space for genuine warmth and care.

🎁 VinUni Welcome Home Program – Where family knows no borders: The VinUni Community Executive Board has officially launched the “VinUni Welcome Home” initiative. We believe that when each VinUni family becomes an “Ambassador Family,” they offer a peaceful stop, a true “second home” where international students can feel the warmth of family, even when they are thousands of miles away.

🎉 This Tet, would you be willing to welcome one more “child” into your home: With Lunar New Year approaching, a simple heartfelt invitation to a year-end family meal or the Ông Công Ông Táo ceremony could help our students carry with them unforgettable memories of Vietnam’s hospitality.

Once again, VinUni Community sincerely thanks all families and international students who had joined us for this truly unique gathering!
