From School Bench to Work Desk: What to Prepare for the Transition?
On November 23, 2024, VinUni Community hosted a successful and engaging event titled “From School Bench to Work Desk: What to Prepare for the Transition?” at Vinschool Central Park in Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together students, parents, and educators for a thought-provoking discussion on the essential skills, knowledge, and career guidance needed for a smooth transition from the classroom to the professional world.
The session was led by Nguyễn Thị Vân Anh, a VinUni alumna, and featured a distinguished panel of speakers. Among them were La Minh Sỹ, a parent of a VinUni student, Nguyễn Hồng Hà, Vice Provost for Academic Operations at VinUni, and Trần Thị Chinh, Vice Principal at Vinschool Central Park. Together, they shared valuable insights into the role of education, family, and community in helping students prepare for their future careers. Discussions revolved around key topics such as the development of practical skills, the importance of career planning, and how educational institutions can bridge the gap between academic learning and the demands of the workforce. The speakers also highlighted the role of parents in guiding students through this significant life transition.
