Bringing Warmth to Our Far-From-Home Students with VinUni Community

Did you know that under the shared roof of VinUni today, we are home to international students from more than 30 different countries?  

As the New Year begins, while many of us are enjoying warm moments with our families, somewhere around campus there are students quietly carrying their homesickness – missing their parents who are thousands of miles away. Understanding that feeling, VinUni Community would like to host a very special get-together, where geographical distance is softened by care and genuine connection.  

🎁 Beachside BBQ – Sharing the warmth of family: This won’t be a formal event. Instead, we’ll simply come together in the open, breezy space by Ngoc Trai Lake, grill BBQ, chat, and enjoy each other’s company.  

• For VinUni families: This is a wonderful chance for parents and your children to meet our young “cultural ambassadors” from around the world, and to share Vietnamese traditions, food, and stories during the New Year season.  

• For international students: This is a rare opportunity for you to truly experience the warmth of a Vietnamese family and the heartfelt welcome from parents who are more than happy to treat you like their own.  

🎁 A special sneak peek: At the event, Community will also introduce a brand-new initiative designed especially for our international student community. As VinUni continues to grow and welcome students from all over the world, we believe it’s time to hold our hands even tighter, so no one is left behind. Stay tuned!  

Organized by the VinUni Community Executive Board with the participation of University Leadership, the Student Affairs team (SAM) and our friends from the VinUni International Student Association (VISA), this gathering will bring you lots of laughter, meaningful conversations, and heartfelt moments!
